All weather synthetic pitch...The flood-lit synthetic pitch is marked out for hockey and football. It can also be set up for 5-a-side football with divider nets to separate the pitch into thirds. The AllWeather Pitch can be booked on a casual basis or block booked over the winter or summer seasons. Huntington School is also home to many local clubs including Football Mundial, York Hockey Club, York Knights Scholarship Scheme and various professional football development centres’.

Sportshall and Gymnasium

The Sports Hall can be hired on an evening during the week and throughout the day on weekends and school holidays for a variety of activities that include: Badminton, Roller Skating, Basketball, Volleyball, Indoor Cricket Training, Tennis, Short Tennis. Casual Bookings can be made up to 7 days in advance with block booking available on request. Huntington School is also home to several sport and leisure clubs including York Vikings Basketball Club and York Car Club, for more information please contact the reception.

Tennis and Netball Courts

We have 5 tennis courts that can be hired throughout the summer period, we run mini tennis coaching and tennis coaching courses in the summer holidays for children.

Grass Pitches

Huntington School has two grass football pitches and one grass rugby pitch; these can be hired for fixtures and team training.
